Some users report that recent updates to Microsoft's Intelligent Message Filter (for Exchange Server 2003) do not show up in Add/Remove Programs in Windows. Double-checking on some servers, I've noticed this - the last update that shows up on those in Add/Remove Programs is dated 8/10/2006.
If you look at the registry key for this update (all IMF Updates show up as update for KBA 907747) under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\KB907747, the DisplayVersion value - which is my best guess at what should show up in Add/Remove Programs or an indicator of which update was installed last - shows 2006.11.30. This was the update prior to the current one that was released in January.
One way to determine the version of IMF update currently installed on your system is to go to the \exchsrvr\bin\MSCFV2 directory (\exchsrvr is the install path for Exchange server), and look at the sub-folder that starts with the IMF update version - e.g. 6.5.xxx.x - with the latest date. The following screenshot shows the latest update that was downloaded on 1/18.
